New models of service delivery
FPM is at the forefront of working with organisations to explore new models for public service provision and developing the capacity of leaders and managers to meet the challenges these new models will pose. We are:
- Partnering in a joint venture, led by the Co-operative Group, with Cobbetts, a leading UK law firm and Westminster Bridge Consultancy which aims to promote and support the development of public sector mutuals;
- Providing mentoring support to the second phase of the Cabinet Office pathfinder mutuals;
- Supporting a number of youth and adult learning services in exploring and developing visions for sustainable future provision;
- Working with Groundwork UK and Sanctuary Housing on a Department for Education sponsored project, Young People Friendly Neighbourhoods, exploring the potential for mutuals in 13 local authority areas. This is the largest project of its kind in the UK today.
