FPM has provided briefings on the potential for mutual models in services for young people to all the main political parties, and to both the Cabinet Office and Department for Education. It has run workshops across the country attended by over 60% of leaders from local authority youth services to help them to identify new ways in which they might deliver their services through mutual and other social sector models.
We are currently involved in setting up 7 community and staff led mutuals to deliver services for young people.
FPM is the leading provider of leadership and management development for services for young people. Since 2001, we have delivered programmes to every local authority in England and over 1,600 voluntary organisations. In 2008, the Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC) contracted FPM to deliver leadership and management programmes to 6,000 leaders in the sector.
We have just launched new set of seminars in partnership with Kellogg College, Oxford University entitled Mutuals for Real, for more information click here
