In 2004, FPM were commissioned by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) to research, develop and deliver
Leading Modern Public Libraries (LMPL) to over 650 public library staff at Head of Service, Senior Manager and Future Leader level. As a partner of the Society of Chief Librarians, we delivered the programme to every local authority in England.

Following the success of LMPL, we were asked to launch
Leading Archives and Museums in 2006. This was equally popular, being re-commissioned in 2007, and ultimately being delivered to over 200 museums and archives managers.
Along with our current
open programmes, for cultural sector managers and staff, we are also working on service redesign and new ways to provide services with a number of clients.
